Stickly mission furniture next to gaudy 2nd empire, etc. In her bedroom we created a romantic retreat with a bed recessed into a corner and draped with tapestrys, Spanish crystal chandeliers were at home with many carved Asian antiques and an American clock from 1830... The transformation took one day. Solving this jigsaw puzzle with her over some intoxicants was like being inside some adult version of a DIY decorating show, but with nicer furniture... Oh jeez Ive got alot i could put on here. Ill start with family I have a niece. I'm writing this while shes 4 years old now and shes like the biggest part of my life blah blah blah i really do care for her and shes my little sunshine so just emphasizing on my love for my niece more. My sister is one year older than I am and shes awesome and a great mother for my niece I'm glad she has someone so wonderful to care for her. Theres shawn hes practically a brother now and hes my sisters boyfriend/slash new dad for nanice. I love my Dad. Hes a biker and he has a harley. I have a half-brother greg hes smart hes got his masters in telecommunications hopefully ill get there too but for now im in the marine core doing my thing to help the country, hoorah. I love my mom to death thats all about her.

I try to stay motivated get around to doing stuff and keep myself busy I hate being lazy and havin nothing to do.

Back in Palm Springs!

I am just a regular midwest type guy, living in Palm Springs, CA, nothing special, easy going, curious, and flexible. Teaching (as a volunteer) life skills, art, and writing to compromised adults (with physical, mental, and emotional difficulties).

Enjoy windsailing, bike riding, and hiking. I read several books at a time, probably because I have the attention span of a 4 year old.

I routinely step out of my comfort zone to expand my life, and sometimes that's embarrassing, ....mistakes, errors, bad timing, but if my motives are good, it's always worth it.

My picture is current, my age is correct. I am an activist (not political). I want to meet a woman that is passionate about her life and her interests, .... and a free thinker. I don't watch much television, and I am a consistantly positive personality.

I love my life, ...that's LOVE .....not like. ...I am VERY fortunate.

Where to begin.....Well I am of the mindset that I am ONLY as good as who is in front of me. I am also not sure what may develop, but am one who believes in if things were meant to happen, they will. I don't believe in forcing anything, but also don't believe in letting something slip away simply because one may be too scared to 'go for it.'

I may seem casual on my profile because I don't think anyone should approach a person with the mindset of having the intention that he/she is to be a boyfriend/girlfriend or even a husband/wife - especially from the getgo. I believe that a foundation of trust, respect, integrity, and sincerity should be formed, even manifest itself with this growing between the 2 people. This begins with no false pretense, no assumptions, and to be conveyed with an individual simply being themself.....i.e., casually. Let things happen as they may.....an openness, an intensity......and done honestly.

I reject the current gay paradigm entirely. My earliest memories were that I knew my name, I knew that I was gay, and I knew that I had better keep my mouth shut about it. I remember feeling at age 4 that my life quest was to find my soul mate, and I feel absolutely betrayed by the universe that I have reached age 46 and am still without a loving partner. I am usually two standard deviations from the mean in any given situation, characteristic, or question involved.
